What a cookie is

A cookie is a small file stored on your device by the browser. Similar tools (local storage, pixels, font requests) can also identify a visit. This page describes what this site uses today.

Strictly necessary

The site is published in French, Dutch and English with Polylang. A cookie named pll_language stores the language you last chose so the next page stays in that language. It is required for the service you ask for. It is not used for advertising.

WordPress may set session cookies if someone logs into the administration. Ordinary visitors do not receive those cookies.

The contact form keeps the typed fields in the browser until you send. That is not a tracking cookie. Sending the form emails Elite Company; it does not plant an advertising identifier.

Audience and advertising

We do not set an advertising cookie. We do not load Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or a tag manager, because those tools are not installed. On a first visit, two notices ask you to accept or refuse optional cookies.

If an audience or advertising tool is added later, it will only run after a choice (except for cookies that are strictly necessary), and this page will name the tool, the purpose and the retention.

Third parties when you click

Links to WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn open those services. They may then set their own cookies, under their own policies. We do not place their social plugins on the pages.

Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). Your browser sends a technical request (IP address, user-agent) to Google, which may process that request in the United States. That is not a cookie we set; it is a third-party connection needed to display the current design.

How to refuse

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the language cookie may force the site back to the default language on each visit.
