This notice covers the public site, the contact form, and messages you send us by email or WhatsApp about a visit or a quote.

What we collect

On the contact form: name, phone, email, type of works if you choose one, and the description of the job. A hidden “company” field is a spam trap; if it is filled, the message is discarded and not read.

If you write on WhatsApp or by email, we process the same kind of facts, plus whatever you attach (photos of the room, address, preferred dates).

The web server may keep technical logs for a short time (IP address, date, requested page, browser) to keep the site running and to investigate abuse.

We do not run a newsletter from this site. We do not create a marketing list. We do not sell data.

Why, and on what legal basis

• To answer you, visit the property and write a quote: steps prior to a contract (GDPR art. 6.1.b).
• To keep a job file, invoices and legal records if we work for you: legal obligation and the contract (art. 6.1.b and 6.1.c).
• To operate and secure the website (server logs, language cookie): legitimate interest in a working, multilingual site (art. 6.1.f).
• To display the typefaces: the site loads fonts from Google Fonts; your browser then contacts Google. Legal basis: legitimate interest in presenting the site (art. 6.1.f). See also the cookies page.

Who receives the data

Messages from the form are sent by email to info@elitecompany.be. They are not stored in a public database on this site.

They may be seen by the people at Elite Company who prepare the visit and the quote. Hosting and email providers process data only to deliver those services.

If you open WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn from this site, those services process the data under their own policies. We do not embed tracking pixels from those networks.

Google LLC (United States) receives a technical request when the fonts load (IP address and browser data). Google’s terms apply to that request.

We do not transfer your quote file to third countries for marketing. If a tool outside the EEA is added later, this page will name it and the safeguard used (for example standard contractual clauses).

How long we keep it

An unanswered enquiry or a quote that does not go ahead is kept only while the file is useful, then deleted, and in any case no longer than two years after the last contact, unless a longer legal period applies.

If we carry out the works, accounting and contract records are kept for the periods required in Belgium (generally ten years for accounting documents).

Server logs are rotated on a short cycle by the host.

Your rights

You may ask to access, correct or erase your data, restrict processing, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and receive a copy of data you provided (portability), within the limits of the GDPR.

Write to info@elitecompany.be. We may need to verify that the request comes from you.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (APD/GBA), Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels — autoriteprotectiondonnees.be.

No automated decision that produces legal effects is taken on this site.
